Design and architecture have had a remarkable impact on the visual imagery within films shot in Helsinki between the 1930s and 1960s, commenting on and creating images of urban culture. The exhibition highlights Finnish design in films and also the lesser-known assistants behind Finnish cinematography, such as set and costume designers.
