JENNI VARTIAINEN keeps burying her history as a member of fluffy Popstars band Gimmel ever deeper. Her solo debut Ihmisten edessä from three years ago was a success story, and Vartiainen stays on track. Seili is filled with etheric yet catchy electro pop tunes blown up just enough to hit radio and the charts. If there’s ever a need for a Finnish song for an epic final scene in a hospital drama (think Grey’s Anatomy), Seili has more than a few candidates.
