SlowHill is the chill out project of producer DJ Slow a.k.a. VELLU MAUROLA and saxophonist TAPANI RINNE of RinneRadio fame. The project has reached its eight year, although Muzak is only the duo’s third album. Rinne and Slow rely on the same sound as on their previous albums: meditative woodwinds, tranquil trip hop beats, gentle keyboard harmonies and jazzy guitars. Cynics might describe SlowHill’s downtempo as dated, while fans will deem it timeless.
